Under the direction of legal leadership, handles legal projects within the organization, which may include drafting and implementing form agreements, maintaining legal contracts database, research and analysis on legal matters and assisting with special projects.\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p><ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><li>Draft legal agreements, assist with execution of agreements.<\/li><li>Maintain a database of company legal documentations and other legal activities<\/li><li>Provide support on corporate M&amp;A due diligence efforts<\/li><li>Support and perform research on legal topics<\/li><li>Evaluate a given issue\/dispute and formulate and execute a plan of action to resolve matter.<\/li><li>Assist general counsel on corporate governance matters<\/li><li>Assist in legal projects to improve efficiency and transparency within the department and to internal clients<\/li><li>Assists with special projects as assigned.<\/li><li>Opportunity to focus on areas of expertise: intellectual property, corporate governance and securities law, environmental regulations<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p><ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><li>Proficiency with Microsoft software<\/li><li>Excellent organization skills and attention to detail<\/li><li>Strong understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes, and other related matters<\/li><li>Legal research and investigative skills<\/li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li><li>Strong analytical and problem solving skills<\/li><li>Excellent time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines<\/li><li>Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills<\/li><li>Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment<\/li><li>Ability to work independently<\/li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Education\/Certification<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Paralegal certification or Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Paralegal Studies or related field or equivalent experience<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Related Work Experience<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5+ years paralegal or equivalent work experience.
