We develop products that impact critically important issues of life \u2013 issues where there often is no room for error and the job doesn\u2019t offer second chances.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At Perimeter, we characterize the solutions we develop as \u2018Solutions that Save\u2019 \u2013 because it helps underscore what we are trying to accomplish for our customers, and the world at large, across all our business segments.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>POSITION SUMMARY<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Accountant will prepare financial reports to track the organizations assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:<\/p><ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><li>Performs general cost accounting and other related duties in the accounting department.<\/li><li>Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.<\/li><li>Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.<\/li><li>Fixed Assets Reporting: fixed asset ledger, depreciation, and reconciliation<\/li><li>Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations.<\/li><li>Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.<\/li><li>Responding to information requests and assisting with audits.<\/li><li>Assisting the accounting manager as needed.<\/li><li>Assist with the month end, quarter end and year end closing process<\/li><li>Aid in implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES<\/strong><\/p><ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline required.<\/li><li>2 to 3 years of accounting experience required, public company experience preferred<\/li><li>Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.<\/li><li>Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.<\/li><li>Highly proficient with accounting software.<\/li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<\/li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Culture:<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a newly public company traded on the NYSE under PRM, our world Headquarters are situated in downtown Clayton, with access to free parking, a fitness center, and walkable to parks, restaurants, and shopping.
