St. Louis, MO<\/em><\/strong> October 25, 2018 <\/em>\u2013 \u00a0Perimeter Solutions, one of the world\u2019s leading producers of fire retardants, foams, and water enhancing gels for managing wildland, industrial, and municipal fires, today announced it has agreed to acquire Solberg, the firefighting foam products division of Amerex Corporation.\u00a0 Solberg produces advanced firefighting foam concentrate technologies and markets those under three brands: RE-HEALING\u2122, ARTIC\u2122, and FIRE-BREAK\u2122.<\/p>\n

Solberg foam products address rising demand for technology that meet stringent fire performance criteria, and environmental safety standards. The Green Bay, Wisconsin-based company brings 50 years of foam technology formulating expertise to Perimeter Solutions, including a new generation of environmentally friendly technology free from fluorosurfactants and fluoropolymers.<\/p>\n

Global Fire Suppressant Supply Position<\/strong><\/p>\n

Perimeter Solutions plans to integrate Solberg\u2019s operations within its existing manufacturing and sales ecosystem to expand its global technology and supply position in fire suppressant foam technology.<\/p>\n
